VenusVelvet is a labour of love. 

I fell in love with jewelry design back in art college oh so many years ago, but life had other plans for me. After years of working in the design and advertising field and then taking some time off after the birth of my daughter I finally made the decision to fully immerse myself in what I truly enjoy the most.

VenusVelvet may seem like a strange name but it come from the plain and simple yellow pencil that was forever in my hand as a child… drawing and creating artwork. The Venusvelvet pencil was the beginning of my journey so it seemed fitting that the now extinct yellow pencil be remembered and recognized as the tool that launched me first into the art world and then to find my true passion in jewelry.

Minimalist and Modern in design, my work combines my love of the nature with the clean lines of architecture.
